The 6TH Annual Raleigh NC Chicken Coop Tour is May 21, 2011 Henside the Beltline TOUR D'COOP
There are about 20 Featured Coops for 2011
Henside the Beltline was started in 2002 just to share information and show off coops to neighbors and friends. WOW! Has it grown! Most of the coops are Inside the Beltline in Raleigh. A wonderful opportunity to speak directly with owners of the coops and tour some very special chicken's homes! http://www.tourdcoop.com/coops

On June 4, 5 and 6 Bob Davis is conducting Chicken Keeping 101 classes at Kilgore Hall, NC State University.
The Henside the Beltline website is full of information on the Tour D"Coop, classes, maps and the featured coops for 2011. Click any of the links highlighted in blue on this post or go directly to: http://tourdcoop.com

My business is the result of the support and referrals from people like you...Thank you!

Nellie - as I recal from previous years...some of these chicken coops are @ some amazing home ITB. Should be a good time & thanks for sharing.
Martini
That is amazing, Nellie. Some of my fondest memories are on my grandmother's farm in Tennessee and going out with her to gather the eggs. Simple pleasures are sometimes the best. Wish I was there to participate!
Wow, every day I 'meet' a side of the city I had no idea existed. Thanks for sharing Nellie!
Kevin - You're correct - I still have a hard time wondering why Cary and/or Garner don't allow chickens "legally" in city limits!
Kriselle, There's so much I don't know about the inner circles of the Raleigh area, even after more than 20 years! I was today on your site, and you are SO talented! and I know you are a great Realtor with all the knowledge you're shared already. Best wishes.
Dixie & Dick - I'm such a "city" girl - just learning about so much I don't know - maybe that will keep me young for many more years. I'm looking forward to having chickens next year...and my son told me he's getting me a goat for my birthday in August!
