Now I believe it! Grandmothering is WONDERFUL! No worrying about doctor's appointments, ear aches, crying (ALL babies cry!). Just enjoying every minute...with NO guilt, no "I've got to be the PERFECT parent" syndrome.
My new grand daughter is the first one in a long time to have great-grandparents! And my parents flew in from Trenton NJ (I think they should move to RALEIGH NC already!) tonight to meet their great-grand daughter. And then I come home to an email showcasing this video. About fell off my chair! I hope you enjoy and laugh and hug your children, parents, family & friends !

I love that song, Nellie. It's so very true. I say most of those things every single day. I keep telling my husband I can't wait to be a grandmother. Of course, that's not exactly true. My son's only 15. So, I can actually wait a while. But, I know I'll have lots of fun when it happens one day.
This is brilliant. I was waiting for the "if your friends jump of a bridge would you too" and,sure enough.
I just found out I am going to be a great-grandmother, thanks to the youthful parenting of both my daughter and granddaughter. I love being a grandparent, would have preferred she wait a little longer, but I jump in with both feet once it happens and there's no turning back.
