Tuna Fishing in NC

Tuna Fishing in Manteo, North Carolina - They caught their limit that great day in June 2009 !  Every year a group of former/present IBM  and other techies and friends head to the NC Coast and go fishing for the weekend.  The Captain of Tuna Fever in Manteo NC is excellent (according to all these guys!) They were not Speechless that Sunday - but this time their "fish" stories were for real!

Yes, the size of their fish is one of the things that men always exagerate - Tuna Fishing in North Carolina looks like fun!

Nellie, The weather there is still warm enough for fishing?  Oh, you're so lucky!  These fish are HUGE, I think I could live off one for a year....and still have leftovers!

Nellie,

Great shots. The top one I like because it shows the catch and the bottom because it makes it personal. :)

Laxton Associates,

All the guys were really SPEECHLESS after this trip! And the tuna is exceptional.  We've had a couple nights of wonderful sushi!

Virginia & Carole,

Usually the fish stories are something else, and not much to show for it....but this time (in June) it was amazing!

Carole, this pic was taken in June; however, yesterday it was 81 degrees here.  TODAY - 63 I think!  That's RALEIGH NC for ya.

Steve,

Thanks for the comments - doesn't Darren look "proud" in the second picture?  It was quite a catch in MATEO, NC that day!
